Questions Couples Ask

How much should a DJ cost?

Most Utah wedding DJ services range from $800–$2,500, depending on experience, equipment, lighting design, and emcee involvement. Our packages are designed around what you actually need — no fluff or pressure.

How do you prepare for our wedding?

For each wedding, I create a planning document that is shared with the couple. They are able to review and edit the details to their desires, then we do a planning Zoom call where we go over each of the nitty gritty details to make sure your day goes accordingly.

Do you emcee and DJ?

Yes! I make sure to help move events along during the reception so that you can relax and mingle with those you love!

Do you do ceremonies AND receptions?

Yes! I have battery powered audio equipment for ceremonies for any location — even in the middle of the desert! As part of our planning phone call, we can go over all the details for walk-down songs, order, and more.

Do you help with sound for luncheon/dinner speeches?

Yes! I have professional microphones that are used to make those moments memorable!

Do you allow us to choose the music you play?

Yes! As part of our planning call we will go over music preferences. Some couples even choose to create their own playlist, which they send to me and then I use at the wedding (we also discuss how long they want the song to play, remixes, and more).

How can we pay?

Right here through the website, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay.

How do you handle the unexpected?

With experience comes preparation. After DJing weddings in a wide range of venues, I've planned for just about every scenario. If the power goes out, I have battery-powered backup equipment ready to keep things running (even if it's not quite as powerful as my main setup). If a laptop fails, I have a backup device on standby. If a microphone stops working, I have extras ready to go. My goal is simple: no matter what happens, your event keeps moving without interruption.

Why should we hire a DJ if my brother already has a playlist ready?

A great playlist helps — but a great wedding takes more than pressing play. As your DJ, I'm reading the room, adjusting the music in real time, and keeping your entire night flowing smoothly — from entrances to the final song. I also coordinate with your other vendors and handle all the behind-the-scenes details. Your brother should be celebrating with you, not worrying about timing, sound, or troubleshooting. Hiring a DJ means a seamless, stress-free, and fun experience for everyone.
